DENVER (May 1, 2025) – MedGeo Ventures has partnered with the Urgent Care Association (UCA) to launch Urgent Care Compass – a new online career platform designed to transform how job opportunities in Urgent Care settings are discovered and filled.
Since 2023, MedGeo has worked with leading medical associations to incorporate its innovative map-based career exploration platform, helping to modernize job centers and support healthcare professionals at every step in the career search and selection process.
As the industry’s leading trade association, UCA brings a deep understanding of urgent care hiring needs—knowledge enriched by partnerships with the College of Urgent Care Medicine and the Urgent Care College of Physicians. The platform features a map interface with profiles on all 15,000+ Urgent Care centers nationwide and is accessible to more than 18,000+ clinicians and Urgent Care professionals.
“At MedGeo, we’ve only been in the market for two years, but the Urgent Care Association already marks the sixth leading healthcare association to choose our unique platform and business model to power their members’ career experience,” says Deanna Bassett, Chief Executive Officer of MedGeo. “We’re honored that UCA is putting its trust in us to help the organization meet its strategic workforce-related initiatives and we’re excited for what’s ahead.
MedGeo’s reach extends across the healthcare landscape through partnerships with key associations including the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA), the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R), the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA), and the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM).
Through Urgent Care Compass, MedGeo will help UCA create a more relevant members-only career search experience by mapping the entire Urgent Care ecosystem and providing the means to engage with any employer. Urgent Care Compass is a collaboration across the Urgent Care industry to map the entire ecosystem with profiles on every employer in the market whether actively hiring or not. The innovative platform enables Urgent Care centers to tell their brand story, fill current openings and build a talent pipeline for future hires.
“Urgent care centers have a critical role in the healthcare continuum by delivering high-quality, affordable, and easily accessible care – which helps to offload overcrowded emergency rooms.” said Gerry Cvitanovich, MD 2025 UCA Board President. “Our collaboration with MedGeo ensures that these professionals have access to career resources that reflect the speed, versatility, and passion they bring to the field every day.”
